Delivering Mental Health Care
Through Telemedicine

Whether you are a long-time patient or new to our office, we would love to hear from you. If you’ve had an experience at Brighter Day Health that you would like to share with us or with others, please feel free to contact us.

When I first started with BDH in 2012 I thought this would be a temporary gig – getting 80 and 90 year old people to sit in front of a computer was beyond my imagination. It was so cool after the first week of doing visits to see how much the residents enjoyed coming down and talking to “that guy on the computer.” I had several residents with super high anxiety that came down only because they had control of the visit – when they wanted to end a visit, they simply shut the computer and the visit was over. This gave the resident the power over the visit, not the clinician. I have seen patients who initially wouldn’t even leave their room and now they come down to every meal! I had other residents who wouldn’t walk because they were too scared start walking. It has been really cool seeing residents flourish with our providers.

My personal experience and the facility feel that your services have been a positive impact to our Residents and a great part of our team!

– Trisha Rocha, DON

I feel that the mental health area is an area of great importance for the well-being of my residents.  I see areas of improvements with the residents I have seeing the psychologist and the psychiatrist and these little areas speak volumes.  It’s like being able to shout from a roof top

– Kelsey Deemer, Resident Care Coordinator

Brighter Day Health has been a great asset to our facility and our residents really enjoy the one on one time they receive with the practitioner.  The Brighter Day Health practitioners really take their time with each resident and also take the time to listen to the facility staff’s input.  This team approach has been very beneficial to our residents’ holistic well-being.
